Staff & Leadership
In 2008, David Smith accepted Jesus Christ into his life. After a drug deal gone bad, God showed him a vision. In this vision David’s children were visiting him in prison.
“God reached out to me with a warning. That warning changed the course of my life.
Both of my parents were in prison when I was born and I didn’t want my kids to go through that.”
From that day forward David didn’t purchase another drug to sell. He and his wife started attending church, experienced the favor of God, and started serving in different ways at their local church. They started volunteering to teach in children’s church and not long after took over as the lead Children’s Pastors.
“God quickly grew the children’s ministry from just a few kids to over 25 children attending every Sunday.”
David, realizing his passion for youth also took on the roll as Youth Pastor. He then had a vision to start an event called “God Belongs in Our City”. After being invited to help with a church launch in Pittsburgh, God showed David that there were others with the same desire to reach people. David quit his Job as Commercial Manger at AutoZone and dedicated his life to full-time ministry and to allow God to use him in any way.
David’s passion is for people and to fully display the love of Christ to everyone.
David and his wife Kristy live in Cumberland, MD where they raise their 7 kids. Domini, Lya, David, Ella, Patrick, Jesse and Ezekiel.

Fred and his wife, Kristin live in nearby Ridgeley, WV and have three children, Fredrick, Caroline and Lauren.
Jay & Christine Atkinson
Jay first found salvation on March 1, 1998 at the age of 25. He remained in a struggle with the world until 2013, when he realized the calling of God on his life. He quit everything and moved to Ohio to go to bible college. There he discovered a passion for world wide ministries.
During the week, Jay's job is chaplain at Western Correctional Institution. While it is a very rewarding job, Jay's main passion is to see the Kingdom advance around the world. He has been to Africa three times and plans many more trips in the future.
